Special Studies

Quite often, many of our clients do not want or need a total revision of their development regulations or their infrastructure financing tools, but do want to review or revise some aspect or part of their planning and growth management programs. For these clients, Duncan Associates is available to focus quickly on specific problems or issues, such as urban growth policies, sign ordinances, adult business regulations, cost of growth studies, smart growth audits, affordable housing studies, "best practices" manuals, transfer development rights studies, or adequate public facility systems.

Duncan Associates has prepared more than 60 special studies for cities, counties, regions and states throughout the nation. These include 14 adult use studies, 15 sign ordinances (in addition to those included in codes), seven cost of growth studies, and five adequate public facility studies.
